2010 Resolutions
Sophia's 2009's Resolution
- Save $$$ (checked)
- Lose 10-15kg + Tone up: go gym @ least once twice per week, do at least 90 crutches per day, go jogging at least once every 2 weeks (exercise plan fail terribly, yikes!)
- Get hitched (of coz! on 16th Oct 2009)
- Taiwan/Japan/Korea/Batam/Philippines/Brunei/Myanmmar/Laos Trip (Can strike out batam and half strike Korea coz went Jeju)
- Limit my credit card bills to $500-$600 per month (checked, I did such a good job that for consecutive 2 mths, my bills are almost $0, think too tired to shop)
- Take part in 1 major sports event: Singapore Standard Chartered marathon, OCBC cycle etc (needless to say, total failure =P)
- Learn a new language: Japanese/French/Malay (Checked, learnt basic Jap. Enough to enable me to travel ard Japan and S-H-O-P hee)
- Continue to save money $$$
- Learn Yoga/Hot Yoga and do more exercise (lose more weight lo *determined cross my fingers)
- Go for 1 last short trip before my customaries in Dec
- Continue to limit my credit card bills to $200-$300 a month
- Go for 1 Wine Appreciation Workshop
- Go for 1 fine dining meal with my hubby on one of our special occasions
Ok. Think set targets must be realistic right? =P so dun anyhow set plus need to save money and energy for my customaries and banquet in Dec. Aren't you excited! hm..perhaps u're not. hahaha.....
Last Day of 2009
The old man's back on the last day of 2009. He's still pathetic as before. hm.....no positive changes or improvement despite the 1 mth break. Wat can I say? Sad thing.

Meet Hubby => Lunch + spending some time together => Go home for mahjong session with family!
No coundown parties for me coz dun really squeeze with the crowds. hiak hiak!

Christmas Adventures
A rundown of my Christmas Adventures 2009!
23th Dec
Brought my parents to Bukit Timah's Hanabi for dinner. WA........the variety w/o rice is very little lo. Most of the dishes are fried ones. Very filling leh....no unagi =( unless order it as gunkan sushi then got rice very filling mah.....the cha soba also say not very nice leh. I think the Sashimi very nice! =) But they dun have swordfish (kajimi i think) leh... Dun think I will go back anymore. haha
24th Dec
Half day 'work'. Our welfare team had arranged some christmas celebration programmes for the half day. =) So.....instead of spending it at depot rd, we went to Suntec City! Started the day with breakfast at Pastamania. hm.....for that kinda price, we should really be eating something better. Then it's off to the movies. We can choose between "Sherlock Holmes", "Avatar" and "Alvin and the Chipmunks". I chose the detective show. Quite nice hee....
I bought another top from New Look wahahaha.....
25th Dec
Woke up late. Had lunch at home and then proceed to Tampines Mall, Century Square and Tampines One for shopping! Bought 2 pair of new shoes. =) Collected the christmas package from NTUC and went home to prepare for dinner. My brother bought the "Band Hero" for our Nintendo Wii. Quite fun! but then the songs are not really our type of songs. Need to ask my brother to go figure out how to get more songs. One of my cousins and my grandma joined us for our christmas dinner =)
I went to the movies again, watched " 十月围城 " @ Tmall GV. I think the movie is ok la but a bit duh....coz it's like so many people dead for a guy they have not met before. But my hubby say that is the price of revolution. =P

Ivan and gf, Shan picked us (me, hubby and keljin) from paya lebar mrt station in his new Honda Fit. We were meeting the rest of the gang (Turtle, ZD and Gary) for Mushroom Pot buffet. =) The buffet is really not bad. Dun mind to go back and try it again =) We then went to Ivan's condo, Dunman View for boardgame and gift X-change. After that, proceed to Bishan for the Avatar 3D Movie. I find the movie ok only.....the 3D effects not impressive enough and not many, kinda disappointed coz it's my hubby's first try @ 3D movie and it's not impressive enough to WOW him. hai.... =)

As usual woke up late for a late lunch at home. Went to get a pair of leggings to go with my new tunic top, but hubby say too black, dun wear it to both my father and brother-in-laws' birthday dinner. We went to Holiday Inn Park View, Window on the Park for dinner buffet. The variety is little but they have mini lobsters, chilli crabs with deep fried buns, salmon sashimi and durian puree. hm...the salmon sashimi is good. =) that's all.....u get wat i mean right. lol

Blog Skin
Oh in case anyone is wondering why my blog skin has turned into such a plain pinky design, that's becoz my last nice blog skin 'timed-out' on me =( So i'll need to source for new one, but I dun have the time now hahaha =)

Had a great time slacking, however I felt Harris Resort is more suitable for family fun. Nice room, EXCELLENT service, wide range of television channels hahaha
We bought 2 adidas tops(gage), 1 black polka dot top(sophia), 4 small tubs of body scrubs(sophia), x number of chewY 'sweets', 2 big packs of tibits(gage) and 4 big boxes of kueh lapis(sophia and gage)

The place is not very developed but the people there are real friendly! =)
I dun mind to go back there for more shopping coz I find this fabulous shopping area, actually I dun really know if it's nice coz I din have ample time to explore it. But we bought our clothes and kueh lapis there =)
My new laptop has arrived ! Anoter Fujitsu, L1010 =)
Mine's purple, not that it's my favourite color but rather, i heard they have lesser purple units and that makes my laptop more unique! hee =)
Seriously I think windows vista is giving me headache. I need some time to get used to but unfortunately, I do not have the time to do so on weekdays and on weekends I wanna spend it sleeping =(
Furthermore, due to the nature of my work, I'm quite sick of the laptop/desktop by the time i get back home at night. I rather spend it watching a bit of TV or read. I've adopted the habit of reading before sleep, at least an hour each day unless i'm totally worn out.

Came in first for cheering compeition.
3rd place in the Amazing Race. Not bad at all, considering the weird combi in my team lolz.
It's a shame I wasn't able to get anything from the lucky draw, I was eyeing the first prize as usual hahaha....
Looking forward to the gala night, hopefully can walk away with something from the lucky draw!
